In my case it's quite difficult to separate free time from working time. I have often taken ideas for my research, lessons and lectures from my free-time readings, and often good  ideas for my job and solutions to my research problems came in my mind during my free time or holidays. Even my travels are mainly related to job duties, such as conferences, courses and congresses all over the world. Moreover, many of my colleagues and job collaborators are also my best friends, so it is sometimes very difficult to distinguish if I am spending time with them for working or for friendship.
